I work well with men and women in recovery from Substance Abuse issues.

My Approach

I have an integrative and systemic approach, focusing on how family and community systems shape a person’s life.  I help clients understand these influences while also addressing unresolved past and present experiences.  This offers a grounded path toward healing. It is important to teach how the body-brain connection fosters safety, self-esteem, and emotional relief.   Healing trauma requires building a foundation of safety and settling to proceed. This is a powerful way to guide people toward wholeness. I work with people with current stressors that often need only skill building for stress reduction and new ways to think about the issue.
